How To Embed Google Forms On Your Website
So let's get started. I am Darshan from Darshan Blogs, and let's add Google forms to our website. First, let's look at the side where we want to add Google forms. Here it is: Now, to add Google forms to our site, we are going to take two steps. So to create the form, let's open a new tab and search for Google forms. Now click the first link, and it will take you to this site. This is the site where we can create our forms. So to create the form, just click and go to Google Forms, and here you can see the sample forms.
Now you can edit this form based on your needs. So just click on the field, then click here, and it will be deleted. To change the type of your field, I'm going to select paragraph, and it will be changed here, and then change the name of your field. So I'm going to enter your message once you're done editing your form. Next, let's change the form's color to match our website. So to change the color, just click here and select the color you want. As you can see, the color has changed.
Once you have changed the color, if you click here, you can see that this option is enabled, which means each visitor will be able to submit a form only once. So to allow your visitor to contact you multiple times, just disable this and click Save Okay. So now we have successfully created our form. You want to display the form.
Then go to Pages, click 'add new', and it will take you to this page. Here you need to enter the page title, as I want to add a contact form to our site. I'm going to enter. Contact us Now to add this form to our site, just click the plus icon, search for html, select the html blog, and you will get this field. No, let's go back to our form. Copy this code, then come back and paste it here. Once you have done that, let's click publish, and a contact form will be added to our site. So to check that, just click view page, and you can see that the form has been added. So now we have successfully added a Google form to our WordPress website.
Okay. Now, if you see here, we have a scroll bar in our form, and our visitor needs to scroll down to fill out the entire form. Now, instead of scrolling down, what if you want to display the full form on your page like this? Let's see how you can do that. So just select the height. And then enter the value you want. So I'm going to enter 950. To save our changes, just click Update. So this is how you can display the full form on your page. Okay. Next, let's see how this form works. Now the visitor fills up these details and clicks submit. You can see that the form has been submitted. Once your visitor has submitted the form, how can you see those responses? Next, let's talk about how you can see the response of your visitors. So to see the response, let's go back to Google Forms. Here you can see that we have gotten one response, so to view it, click here. Now here, you can see all the responses from your visitors. Okay.
So now you know how to see your visitors responses from Google forms. So instead of checking the details from Google forms, what if you want to get an email notification for new responses? So next, let's see how you can get an email notification for new responses. So to get email notifications, let's go back to our Google form. And click here, and then click Add-ons now here. Search for email notifications, and you will get this add-on. No, this is the add-on, which will help us get notifications when someone submits the form. So to get the notifications, we need to install this add-on, so let's click here and then click install. And click continue. Now, choose your Google account.
And click allow. Now we have installed the add-on for email notifications. So let's click done and then close this. So to get email notifications, just click here and click email notifications. Then click Create Email Notifications, and you will get a box like this. Now, to get the notification here, you need to create a rule. So to create it, let's first enter the name for the rule. So I'm going to enter the contact form and then enter your name here. Once you get an email notification from your visitor, if you want to reply to them, just scroll down and enable this option, then click here. And select email, so now you can reply to your visitors. Once you have created the rule, just click Save Okay.
And now you will get an email notification for every new response. Now let's say a visitor wants to contact you and fills out this form, then clicks submit. You can see that the form has been submitted. Now, you can see that we have an email. Now you can see the details of the visitors who have filled in the form.
