Qualifying competition for the next year's 'Physical Sports Tournament-2024' will be held in June this year in Kazan, Russia. According to the Russian Embassy, Nepal is expected to have the largest number of teams participating in the Physical Sports Competition-2024.
Both physical and digital events will be organized in the competition. In which 50 percent will be physical activity and 50 percent will be digital. Traditional games like football, basketball and hockey will be held in the tournament. Nepal will be allowed to participate in these games. Similarly, e-sports games like PUBG, Free Fire, Dota 2 and League of Legends will be presented.
As part of the competition, football, basketball, hockey and running competitions include prize money of one million dollars in each game. Similarly, in e-sports games like Dota 2 and League of Legends, each game has a prize amount of 3 million dollars. Tactical Battle 55 CSGO, Tactical Battle 55 Valorant and Drone Beat Saber have 3 million, 2 million and 5 million dollars respectively. It is said that the organizers will bear all the expenses of the players who will be selected in the Physical Sports Tournament-2024.
Abin Karki, who is coordinating Nepal for the tournament, said that the eligible players will be selected from among the participating players in the June selection for the tournament. According to Karki, in order to participate in the selection competition, the application can be made through the website of 'Fijital Game of Future' and the expenses of the selection competition will be borne by the organizer. Karki said that applications can be submitted until the end of May for the selection held in Russia.
